FSOMS Summer Meeting Highlights

Amelia Island was the perfect setting for the Summer FSOMS Meeting. With over 65 members in attendance the meeting was kicked off with two days of required emergency training of ACLS/ BLS and Airways and Office Emergencies classes. We opened our program with a welcome reception and dodged the late afternoon rain showers.

Saturday morning’s program started with Dr. Martin Steed’s session on “Peripheral Trigeminal Nerve Injuries: Contemporary Evaluation, Regeneration, and Repair” and ended with the Board Business Meeting and introduction of FSOMS candidates and new members: Drs. Victoria Palermo, Hisham Marwan, Manik Bedi, and Kenneth Anderson III.

 

 

Sunday morning’s program began with Dr. Salman’s “Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea” and ended with Dr. Ruiz’s  “Staged Reconstructive Approach to Cleft Lip & Palate.”
